LIFE SCENE INVESTIGATION®
Purpose...Passion...Performance ![]()

‘Who Are You?’ The theme song of the fantastically popular TV show Crime Scene Investigation (C.S.I.) blasts out to confront us with the most important question of life. Without answers to this question your life will never have a sense of Purpose. Without the ability to clearly articulate who you are, you cannot experience the Passion all of us desperately seek in life. C.S.I. is about the discovery of Evidence. Life Scene Investigation (L.S.I.) focuses on discovering the Evidence that is necessary to answers to the question, ‘Who Are You?’
Catherine Willows: “The Evidence.” C.S.I. I have always worked with people and my passion has been to help people become the best they could possibly be. I have been a coach, a minister, therapist, youth leader, father, anything and everything to do with helping people I have loved being a part of. I studied psychology, counseling, ministry, sociology, cross-cultural communication and other disciplines that would help me help people. That is what I do. In 1991 I came to the U.S.A. to live, after having studied here in the 70's and 80's. It was on my return to the U.S.A. that I learned forensics. I met and became friends with one world's most brilliant psychologists, Dr. Elizabeth Loftus. She had written numerous books on law and psychology, been an expert witness on such high profile cases as Ted Bundy, Michael Jackson, Hillside Strangler , O.J. Simpson and countless others. She taught me how to think forensically, to look for evidence that would evaluated, tested and then put on display in a trial. She is a part of the Innocence Project which uses Forensic Evidence to overturn wrongly convicted people. She is a wonderful woman who is passionate about truth and how that truth can bring freedom to life! ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Dr. Elizabeth Loftus Ph.D. - Past President American Psychological Society and Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Law. Author of 20 books including 'Witness for The Defense' and 'Eye Witness Testimony' ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
I was also a counselor for many years and grew tired of diagnosing deficit, disease, dysfunction and everything we need to avoid and divest ourselves of in an attempt to develop and grow our lives. I never really believed that life was built by avoiding, not doing, not associating or by avoiding wrong thinking. Life is built by the discovery of assets, strengths, unique capacity and then developing and engaging them in life. I am convinced of the principle that 'When We Maximize Strength, We Minimize Weakness'.. That is foundational to the L.S.I. philosophy. In 2005 I started Life Scene Investigation or L.S.I. I had developed a curriculum that was based on discovering individual strengths. After speaking at a local high school and using C.S.I. as a analogy to help the students discover their strengths, the world changed! They understood it. I remember speaking to a high school leadership conference of 300 teens and when I asked who watched C.S.I. about 290 put up their hands. So I rewrote my strengths discovery curriculum using C.S.I. or forensics as the process of discovery.
I developed L.S.I. because I wanted to help people discover their potential. When individuals know what they are uniquely designed to do they live with a sense of purpose and direction. We are each unique in our innate design, our DNA distinguishes us from the other 6 billion people on earth. The most important question in Life, is the question asked in the C.S.I. theme music, "Who are you?" So, "Who are you?" When I ask that question I am asking about what you know about what defines you at your best, your strengths. I am not asking you to guess but to confidently state the evidence about what you know about who you are. I believe L.S.I. is without doubt the best program/process to help people discover those strengths. There are great books out there like 'Now Discover Your Strengths' by Donald O. Clifton and Marcus Buckingham . They have also developed the 'StrengthsFinder' and 'StrengthsFinder 2.0' We use all of them in our L.S.I. Coach Certification Training. Jenifer Fox has written a great book for parents and educators, 'Your Child's Strengths, Discover Them, Develop Them, Use Them'. We are all on the same mission. Jenifer has also started a group for people of like mind to begin to associate. Take some time to visit Jenifer's website by clicking on the banner below. L.S.I. goes further and deeper than any program or process in helping peple discover their 'DESIGN'. I simply define 'DESIGN' as the sum of my unique strengths.
The L.S.I. process and programs have a two pronged approach: The demand for L.S.I. has grown. Over the past three years I have been contacted by schools, colleges, juvenile justice systems, churches, youth pastors, non-profits, psychologists, social workers, government agencies, drug courts and other interested people and organizations from across the US and Canada, UK, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Germany and others. So in 2008 L.S.I. started a L.S.I. Forensic Certification to train people and organizations to use our curriculum. To find out about our certification, go to the 'Coach Certification' page on this website. In 2008 we started L.S.I. in Atlanta, Dallas, Nashville and Los Angeles. We are working on innovative ideas for scaling L.S.I. to reach as many people as we possibly can around the world. One of the coolest ideas we have is developing a social networking platform similar to Myspace that will be called MyLifeScene.com. The word 'Forensics' basically means in the forum or on the open stage of life. The purpose of MyLifeScene.com will be for L.S.I. participants to post the best of who they are, their discovered strengths for others to see. They will blog and share the ways they are living and investing their lives to make the lives of others richer and better.
I want to invite you to become a part of the most exciting endeavor, L.S.I. I want to invite you to come to our next certification training and become a Life Scene Investigator. If becoming a Certified Life Scene Investigator is not your goal then make sure you sign up for the most exciting forensically based Personal Strengths Discovery Programs. (See our 'Seminars' page for more details) Attending one of our programs will change your life forever!
